Renew and Restore
Dear All Saints Parish Family,
As all of us are aware, many things around our campus are in great need of repair, deep cleaning, and restoration, and the Archbishop has given us the go-ahead to raise funds for these projects.
So it is with excitement and joy that I share with you all our “Renew and Restore” initiative to shore up and beautify our little corner of the Kingdom of God here at All Saints, and to invite you to participate!
A short list of these projects include, to name a few:
- replacing the church roof (underway)
- restoring the Adoration Chapel
- narthex beautification
- deep cleaning the church and social hall
- restoring the cushioning in the kneelers
- bringing back the bells in the bell tower
- much-needed maintenance in the gym
- adding more inspirational Catholic art around campus
- replacing old and broken furniture
- security upgrades
And we continue to discover new needs regularly!
A parish exists to be a place where God is worshiped in the Sacred Liturgy and where we are formed as intentional disciples through that worship, through prayer and education, and through our Christian fellowship, so I see these projects as “mission critical”. We need the church and our meeting and gathering spaces to be worthy, beautiful, clean, and secure.
You will see more information coming out soon about the details of this initiative, but I wanted to get the word out sooner rather than later. We will need your support to make these things happen. Envelopes marked “Renew and Restore” are already in the narthex if you are ready to give now. Just drop them in the collection next time you come to Mass.
Please join me in praying for these projects. Please also join me in fasting for this intention, offering up many small sacrifices for protection, growth, and clarity on the mission.
Praised be Jesus Christ, now and forever!
All you holy saints of God, pray for us!
In Christ,
Fr. Michael
Pastor
