The goal of the Homebound Ministry is to provide a compassionate presence in imitation of Jesus’ care of people, to those in our community who were hurting and in need. This ministry is most fundamentally a ministry of compassionate presence. This was Jesus’ caring stance toward all people, especially those who were hurting or in need.
We accomplish this goal through two main approaches first by providing Holy Communion to those who were not able to attend Mass and second through delivering flowers and cards to parishioners in need and to surrounding assisted living homes.
