We’re honored to welcome the Holy Land Carvings group to our parish the weekend of May 30–31.
This group represents Christian families from Bethlehem who create beautiful olive wood carvings and rely on tourism and their craftsmanship to support their livelihoods. Due to ongoing challenges and the sharp decline in tourism, many families in the Holy Land are at risk of having to leave their homes in search of work.
Through the mission of Holy Land Carvings, these handcrafted religious pieces are brought to Catholic churches across the United States, allowing families to remain in their homeland and continue supporting their loved ones. Please take time to visit their display after Mass that weekend and consider supporting this meaningful project through the purchase of these unique and faith-filled carvings.
