December 8 marks the feast of the Immaculate Conception. It celebrates an important point of Catholic teaching, and it is a holy day of obligation. As it falls on a Sunday this year, it has been moved to Monday, December 9 and remains a holy day of obligation (masses will be at 6:30am, 9am, 12pm and 7pm).
