Start your Lenten Season Off With Inspiration!

Mark your calendar for March 8 from 10am-Noon in the Social Hall for the Women’s Lenten Morning of Reflection. A light breakfast will be served, followed by a presentation by a talk by Fr. Ben Thomsen. For those who are not familiar with Fr. Ben, here is his biography: 

Fr. Ben was born in Decatur Georgia in 1986. After moving to Japan and Australia in his childhood, he returned to the U.S. for late elementary through high school.  He first attended Baylor University in Texas, and finished his undergraduate at the University of Georgia in Athens. At the University he converted to Catholicism and developed a strong love for philosophy.  Upon completing his 4-year degree he entered the University of Georgia’s School of Law where he earned his J.D.  For 3 years prior to entering seminary, he was a trial attorney for the State of Georgia as an Assistant District Attorney in the Griffin Judicial Circuit. After hearing the call, he studied for the Archdiocese of Atlanta up in Mundelein Seminary in Chicago for 7 years.  He was ordained a priest in 2022 and has served at both St. Benedict and St. Jude and has also taught logic and apologetics at St. John Bosco Academy.
