Parish Events

Once again this year, we would like to conduct a Used eyewear Donation  collection for GA Lighthouse/Lions Club. Our parishioners have donated over 1,700 pairs of glasses, thus far,  during  the past drives (including Parish hall, SVDP and KOC) collections. The useable donations, as we have said previously, are provided to missionary groups traveling the world in an effort to improve the vision of those in need. Any broken or damage pieces go to a recycler who reimburse GLH, by the pound, so nothing goes to waste. Those monies go to help support the free clinic, for those that qualify. in Chamblee.
