All Saints EYEWEAR Collection for Ga. Lighthouse/Lions Club
Have unneeded reading, sunglasses, or prescription glasses? Please donate them—even broken glasses and pieces are welcome! Georgia Lighthouse collects usable glasses and provides 8,000–10,000 pairs each month to missionary groups serving people around the world who are in need of vision care. Broken glasses and pieces are sent to a recycler, with the proceeds helping offset the cost of the free eye clinic in Chamblee, which provides eye exams and glasses to those who qualify.
A clearly marked collection box will be available inside the Social Hall lobby from Saturday, September 19 through Monday, September 28. Please note: No cell phone donations this year.
