Full-Time High School Youth Minister (All Saints Catholic Church – Dunwoody, GA)
All Saints Catholic Church is seeking a faithful and enthusiastic full-time High School Youth Minister to lead and continue growing our ministry for high school students. As Jesse Butrum transitions into the role of Director of Mission and Evangelization, this individual will build upon the strong foundation he has created and support our parish’s commitment to becoming a Next Generation Parish.
Working alongside the Director of Youth Ministry, the High School Youth Minister will develop meaningful relationships with teens, families, volunteers, and parish staff while overseeing weekly programming, retreats, summer activities, and sacramental preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekly high school youth ministry meetings using Life Teen and other approved resources
- Recruit, train, and support the High School Core Team
- Plan retreats, summer camp participation, social events, and Bible studies
- Collaborate on Confirmation preparation and initiation sacraments for parish youth
- Manage program logistics, registration, records, budgets, and Safe Environment compliance
Qualifications
- Active, practicing Catholic willing to take the Oath of Fidelity
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable related experience; theology degree preferred
- Experience working with high school students and familiarity with Life Teen catechesis
- Excellent communication, organizational, administrative, and computer skills
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Completion of required background screening and VIRTUS training
